A brief introduction

Welcome to the Miami University Catholic Newman Center!

We are located behind St. Mary's Church (also behind the Police station). All are welcome! We are open daily from about 7am-10pm. Come study, talk, or just simply chill with us. We have free dinner every Tuesday night, and numerous other events throughout the week.

Mission statement: To invite every member of the Miami University community to encounter, follow, and share Jesus Christ and His Church.

What Defines us:

1.  Availability of the Sacraments  -Centrality of Prayer and the Holy Eucharist, always walking with the Blessed Virgin Mary.
2. Community -We foster authentic Catholic community here at the Newman Center.  Secondly, we work to foster the broader Catholic Community of St. Mary's, Miami, and  Oxford.
3. Formation.  -Students have the formation and tools to start and continue to nurture their prayer life. To have tools to live an authentic Catholic life and discern and follow their Vocation.
4. Mission -We are people of continual outreach, making disciples, and are people of service.  We work to bring the Good News of Jesus Christ to all of Miami and the world.

The Fruit we want to see:  Holy Vocations
